Saturdays from 8:30AM, Member's Run Club now LIVE!
Vi-mprover Sessions (for those that can run for 30 minutes continuously) are a fully coached outdoor run experience, meeting and ending at Vi, Saturdays, 8:30AM-9AM.
With a different focus each week, expect pacing, sprints, intervals, hills and technique tips to progress your runs.
Vi-ginner Sessions (for those not yet able to run continuously for 30 mins) are on Saturdays, 9:30-10AM.
Progressively harder each week, these are coached and motivated walk/run hybrids. Start and end at Vi.
Coached by the lovely, whistle-toting Shana Griffiths (England Athletics Qualified Leadership in Running Fitness Coach) our sessions include warm ups and cool downs, are fully supportive of all paces and running experience and are designed to progress you whatever your current standard. Homework is set weekly (submitted via Strava) and acheivements applauded by all in the community.
A member's only club, these sessions are hugley popular (spaces capped at 12/class) and a brilliant way to complement your lifting.
First Run Club Race: Upton Court Park Run, Saturday 6th December.
Wear running-suitable clothes and shoes, bring water if needed and come pre-loo'd as there are no planned stops.
Should the weather fail us/we don't reach the required 3/class - we will cancel by 7:30AM on the day and send out comms via email and text.his text to edit it.
